User Content Policy

Effective Date: 3.5.2025
Last Updated: 7.11.2026

Skip Dating, Inc. (“Skip,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is designed to help people create safer, respectful, and appropriate dating connections. Skip Date Cards are designed to help people create safer, respectful, and appropriate date invitations.

This User Content Policy applies to content submitted through the Skip app, website, and related services, including profile photos, profile information, Digital Date Cards, physical Date Cards, photos, images, text, artwork, logos, designs, and other materials submitted to Skip.

Collectively, this content is referred to as “User Content.”

By uploading, submitting, creating, displaying, publishing, or requesting User Content through Skip, you agree to follow this policy.

1. Content You Submit

You are responsible for all User Content you upload, submit, create, display, publish, or request through Skip, including:

  • Profile photos
  • Profile information, bios, interests, preferences, and other profile details
  • Photos and images
  • Names and likenesses
  • Text and personal messages
  • Digital Date Card content
  • Physical Date Card content
  • Logos, artwork, and illustrations
  • Slogans and designs
  • Any other submitted materials

User Content must be accurate, appropriate, and suitable for use on a dating-related service.

2. Ownership, Permission, and Privacy

You must have the legal right to use everything you submit.

Do not upload or submit User Content that:

  • You do not own or have permission to use
  • Violates another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights
  • Shows another person without their permission where permission is legally required
  • Contains private, confidential, or sensitive information about another person
  • Impersonates another person or falsely suggests their participation or approval

Skip does not independently verify that you own or have permission to use submitted User Content.

By submitting User Content, you confirm that you have all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and approvals.

3. Profile Photos and Profile Content

Profile photos and profile content must accurately and appropriately represent you.

Your primary profile photo should clearly show you and allow other users to reasonably recognize you.

Profile photos and profile content may not:

  • Impersonate another person or falsely represent another person as you
  • Use stolen photos or images taken from another person’s account as a representation of you
  • Materially misrepresent your identity, age, appearance, or personal characteristics
  • Use artificial intelligence, filters, editing, or image manipulation in a deliberately deceptive or materially misleading way
  • Deliberately conceal your identity through excessive blurring, cropping, masks, graphics, or other obstructions
  • Include contact information, external links, advertising, or promotional content unless specifically permitted by Skip
  • Include content prohibited by this policy
  • Violate another person’s privacy, likeness, copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights

Skip may reject, restrict, or remove profile photos that are excessively blurry, dark, distorted, obscured, misleading, inappropriate, low quality, or otherwise unsuitable for a dating profile.

Your first profile photo may also be displayed on your Digital Date Card. Reordering, replacing, editing, or removing your profile photos may therefore update the photo displayed on both your Skip profile and your Digital Date Card.

Profile photos used on Digital Date Cards must comply with this policy in both contexts.

4. Prohibited Content

Do not upload, submit, create, display, publish, or request User Content that includes or promotes:

  • Nudity, pornography, sexual activity, or sexually explicit content
  • Sexually suggestive, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate content
  • Hate speech, hateful symbols, discrimination, or attacks based on protected characteristics
  • Threats, harassment, bullying, intimidation, or abusive content
  • Graphic violence, self-harm, dangerous activity, or cruelty
  • Illegal activity or the promotion or sale of illegal goods or services
  • Fraud, scams, impersonation, or deliberately misleading content
  • Nonconsensual intimate imagery or manipulated intimate content
  • Content that violates another person’s rights, privacy, or likeness
  • Copyrighted, trademarked, or protected material you do not have permission to use
  • Phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles, usernames, external links, or QR codes, unless generated or specifically permitted by Skip
  • Advertising, spam, solicitations, or unrelated promotional content
  • Malware, deceptive links, or content intended to bypass Skip’s safety or moderation systems
  • Content that creates legal, safety, reputational, or operational risk for Skip
  • Any other content Skip determines is inappropriate for a profile, Date Card, or the Services

5. Automated and Human Review

Skip may use automated systems, human reviewers, or a combination of both to evaluate User Content.

User Content may be:

  • Approved automatically
  • Sent for additional manual review
  • Rejected automatically
  • Restricted while under review
  • Removed or restricted after initially being approved

Automated moderation may not detect every policy violation.

Skip may review User Content again at any time, including after it has been displayed on a profile, after a Digital Date Card has been published, or after a physical order has been submitted.

Passing review only means that the User Content was not determined to violate this policy at the time it was reviewed. It does not mean that Skip endorses the content, verifies its accuracy, verifies a user’s identity, or certifies the person shown in it.

6. Review Statuses

Approved

Approved User Content may be displayed on a Skip profile, used on a Digital Date Card, or submitted for physical printing.

Approval may be reversed if Skip later discovers that the User Content violates this policy, another Skip policy, or applicable law.

Pending Review

User Content that requires additional review may be placed in a pending status.

While User Content is pending:

  • A profile photo or other profile content may be hidden, restricted, or unavailable to other users
  • A Date Card may display a “Pending Review” or “Not Approved Yet” notice
  • Skip may place a visible watermark over a Date Card preview
  • Sharing, saving, downloading, printing, or ordering may be restricted
  • Review may delay the display, creation, or fulfillment of the applicable content or Date Card

You may not remove, crop, hide, or misrepresent a pending-review watermark or use a pending preview in a way that suggests it has been approved by Skip.

Rejected

Rejected User Content cannot be displayed on a profile, used on a Digital Date Card, or submitted for physical printing.

You may be asked to upload a different profile photo, Date Card photo, design, or other replacement content.

Skip may provide a general reason for rejection but is not required to disclose its moderation methods, internal thresholds, detailed safety signals, or other confidential information about its review systems.

7. Digital Date Cards

Digital Date Card content may become shareable immediately after automated or human approval.

Skip may:

  • Crop, resize, compress, or reformat uploaded content
  • Add temporary review labels or watermarks
  • Restrict sharing while a card or its content is under review
  • Disable links or QR codes connected to rejected or removed content
  • Remove a Digital Date Card after publication if it violates this policy

A profile photo displayed on a Digital Date Card remains part of your profile content. Changes to your first profile photo may also change the photo displayed on your Digital Date Card.

Users should report Digital Date Cards that appear unsafe, unlawful, deceptive, or inconsistent with this policy.

8. Physical Date Cards and Print Quality

Photos and designs submitted for physical Date Cards must be clear, properly sized, and suitable for printing.

Skip is not responsible for poor print results caused by customer-submitted content that is:

  • Blurry or low resolution
  • Incorrectly sized or cropped
  • Too dark or poorly lit
  • Distorted or stretched
  • Positioned outside designated safe areas
  • Otherwise unsuitable for printing

Colors and image appearance may vary slightly between a digital screen and a printed product.

Approval of User Content does not guarantee that every element will reproduce exactly as it appears in the digital preview.

9. Rejection, Removal, and Enforcement

Skip may reject, cancel, restrict, remove, refuse to display, refuse to publish, refuse to print, or refuse to ship User Content or orders that:

  • Violate this policy
  • Violate another Skip policy
  • Violate another person’s rights
  • Fail to meet Skip’s content or print standards
  • Create legal, safety, reputational, or operational risk
  • Attempt to bypass Skip’s review systems
  • Are otherwise inappropriate for a profile, Date Card, or the Services

Skip may ask you to replace or edit User Content.

Skip may also restrict, suspend, or disable accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate this policy.

Approval or publication of User Content does not prevent Skip from reviewing, restricting, or removing it later.

10. Cancellations and Refunds

Physical orders that are rejected, canceled, not printed, or not shipped because of prohibited, infringing, unauthorized, inappropriate, unsafe, low-quality, or otherwise noncompliant user-submitted content may not be eligible for a refund.

Additional refund, cancellation, damaged-item, and final-sale terms are explained in Skip’s Return Policy and Terms of Sale.

Digital Date Cards generally do not involve printing or shipping. Any paid Digital Date Card services remain subject to the applicable purchase terms shown at checkout and Skip’s other policies.

11. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for claims, disputes, losses, or legal issues resulting from User Content you upload, submit, create, request, display, publish, or distribute through Skip.

You are also responsible for how you share or use a Date Card after it has been created.

Skip’s content review is intended to support platform safety and policy enforcement. It is not a substitute for obtaining permission, complying with the law, or exercising good judgment.

12. Reporting or Appealing a Decision

To report User Content or ask Skip to reconsider a moderation decision, contact us at info@skip.dating.

Include enough information for Skip to locate the User Content, such as:

  • The email address associated with the account
  • The applicable profile or Date Card details
  • An order number, when applicable
  • A brief explanation of the issue or why you believe the decision should be reconsidered

Do not send sensitive personal information unless requested by Skip.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that the User Content will be approved, restored, or reconsidered.

13. Changes to This Policy

Skip may update this policy as its products, moderation tools, safety standards, or legal obligations change.

The updated version will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the Services after an update means that you agree to the revised policy.
